Blogging Is Hard
A lack of posts recently, due to the lack of internet access at my new place. It's a pain in the ass having to take a 40-minute tube journey into the centre of London to my university's library, in order to get free web access. And, when I get there, I always have more important stuff to do online than have time to sit around and type something here. He says, sitting down and typing something here...
Hopefully, that should all change within the next few days, because I am sorting out internet for my house / flat / thing. £25 per month, but not broadband [ :( ], I can afford, so that should be set up fairly soon. Cue a bundle of ultra-short posts, a la Paranoid.Android.
I was reading today in the newspaper (new tabloid-sized Independent, I love you!) about one journalist's attempt to create and maintain a blog. He says that it fell into disuse because "such an undertaking takes a lot of work to do properly - and I already had a job." Substitute 'job' for 'degree to study for' and you'll understand the problems I face in trying to find / make time to post here. I want to post here, don't get me wrong, but it's hit me fairly hard since I've been back at uni just how much work I didn't do last year, which led to my less than spectacular exam results.
Anyways, I shall try harder to make it a more regular thing to post here. 6 months I've been doing this for now, and I've generally been pretty good at making regular posts, even if they are full of random, meaningless crap. Well, a return to those times is on the cards. Hurrah!
