Little Things

Little things are sometimes all I need to get me through the day. Just yesterday, I was playing Minesweeper during a break from my revision when I set a new best time on Expert. As a bit of background, I'm addicted to Minesweeper, and play it a fair bit (generally when I'm on my computer and my attention drains from what I'm doing). I tend to set a new best time every few weeks, but for some reason this one cheered me up immensely. It put me in a really good mood for the rest of the day, which is just plain weird.

The smallest ideas can sometimes escalate and become the most fulfilling. Last night, a few of the guys were sitting in the kitchen, bored, when somebody suggested guessing the bra sizes of the girls who live on our floor. We even bothered to get a bit of paper and write the answers down in a proper grid, before sending off each other to get the answers. Yes, it's childish and undoubtedly a boyish thing, but it was very entertaining. Before long, word spread round the girls, and they began to come into the kitchen as well. Every time one of the guys came back from a girl's room, there was a period of silence before the result was given, followed by whoops and groans as we found who had the right answer(s). Currently, I'm in second place with 3 from 9 exactly right. Pete, the slut, is in the lead with 5 (!), too much time on his hands. Guys, if you know the females you live with or are friends with quite well, get this organised and have a laugh. Girls, don't be offended, you know you'd do the same about us if you'd thought of it first...

I've done a whole lot more revision today, even getting out of bed (relatively) early to do so. Why oh why is Contract Law so boring?! And it's where the money is, so you've got to know it.

Cheers people, be good. And if you can't be good, be careful. And if you can't be careful, make sure you're too drunk to remember it later.
