Rules Of The Streets
I was just out and about this afternoon on Regent St and Oxford St, making my way to a bookshop to get this German Law textbook I had ordered, when it struck me just how difficult it is to walk down those streets. Admittedly, I shouldn't have bothered on a Saturday afternoon, especially around 3.30, but it was fucking chaos.
Now, I walk fairly (very) fast when I'm out, and I was getting well pissed off with the slow, snail-like speed that everybody was doing. It is for this reason that I propose the banning of the following people from busy streets:
- Slow walkers
- Those with pushchairs
- Those holding hands, especially groups of more than two. Usually girls.
- Groups of tourists, especially those with matching backpacks.
- Basically, just everybody except me.
Righty, I'm off to HMV to spend some money in their big sale. Damn it, I'm a consumer who is suckered in by marketing. Meh.
